About the role
TL;DR
Ensures accurate and timely invoicing, maintaining cash flow and project billing data.
- •The Billing Specialist ensures accurate and timely invoicing, maintaining cash flow and project billing data within NetSuite.
- •Key Responsibilities Complete all project invoices accurately, ensuring they align with contract terms.
- •Work with Billing Manager, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Operations team to resolve billing inquiries / disputes from customers.
- •Prepare and process credit memos and billing corrections as needed to resolve discrepancies.
- •Regularly update and maintain the Billing Master File and Project Billing Worksheets to ensure project data, billing dates, and special requirements are current.
- •Consistently meet all daily, weekly, and month-end billing deadlines to support company cash flow goals.
- •Requirements 3+ years of experience in billing or accounts receivable, preferably in a project-based environment.
- •NetSuite experience is highly preferred.
- •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking is required.
- •Strong attention to detail.
- •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
