Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale virtual care platform for seniors.
- •Papa Community is a 0-to-1 venture building virtual care for seniors, offering the autonomy of an early-stage startup with the stability of a growth-stage company.
- •As an early team member, you will have a significant impact on improving patient outcomes and driving scalability.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and scale Papa Community's proprietary platform, the operational backbone for the care team.
- •Strengthen the revenue cycle management pipeline through integration and improvement of RCM vendor relationships.
- •Extend platform and tooling investments, including transactional email and customer support systems.
- •Enable operational intelligence and automation through data infrastructure and tooling for clinical teams.
- •Contribute to critical technical decisions, build vs. buy trade-offs, and the technical roadmap.
- •Requirements 6+ years of software development experience.
- •Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails or Python. 1+ years of hands-on experience with Elixir.
- •Experience building and shipping high-quality, reliable systems with proper code reviews, testing, rollout, and monitoring.
- •Passionate about improving healthcare access and outcomes.
