About the role
TL;DR
Lead FinOps technical direction and backend service implementation for cost optimization.
- •Lead the FinOps team at Zynga by setting technical direction and implementing backend services.
- •This role challenges engineers to optimize costs across various technology vendors and cloud platforms.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead all technical aspects of the FinOps team’s software development and data analysis.
- •Stay up-to-date on changes within Cloud Hosting Providers (AWS) and other vendor software to identify cost savings.
- •Propose and design new FinOps tooling using a wide array of patterns.
- •Coordinate with enterprise teams to ensure cost optimization and transparency initiatives are effective.
- •Requirements B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and software programming (Python).
- •Experience serving as a technical leader in an enterprise and mentoring other engineers.
- •Hands-on experience with SQL tables, SQL queries, APIs, UIs, and data pipelines.
