- •Zopa is seeking a Data Privacy Manager to advise on privacy implications, translate UK privacy law into actionable recommendations, and support the development of their data privacy governance framework.
- •This role involves managing privacy incidents and data subject requests, building partnerships across departments, and developing the privacy team.
- •Key Responsibilities Advise on privacy implications of new products and customer journeys.
- •Translate UK privacy law into clear, proportionate recommendations.
- •Support the development of the data privacy governance framework.
- •Manage complex privacy incidents and data subject rights requests.
- •Build trusted partnerships across technology, legal, risk, security, and commercial functions.
- •Requirements Deep practical knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
- •Ability to apply privacy law proportionately in a commercial environment.
- •Experience developing a data protection function and implementing governance frameworks.
- •Proven ability to manage data breaches and privacy incidents end-to-end.
- •Experience handling data-subject rights requests with quality and timeliness.
