Director of Field Engineering to lead customer deployments of AI/ML technology.
- •Lead a team of engineers working directly with strategic customers to deploy, configure, and integrate webAI's AI/ML technology into complex environments.
- •This role bridges engineering, product, and customer success to shape deployment strategy and ensure high-impact solutions.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team.
- •Oversee project scoping, deployment, and customization of core technology.
- •Act as a technical advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
- •Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
- •Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing FDE team.
- •Requirements 10+ years of experience in software engineering, technical consulting, or deployment roles, with at least 5 years in leadership.
- •Proven experience leading engineering or deployment teams in client-facing environments.
- •Strong technical background in applied AI engineering, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data platforms.
- •Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- •Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
