About the role
TL;DR
Strengthen infrastructure security across AWS and on-prem systems.
- •Voltus seeks a Security Engineer to strengthen infrastructure security across AWS and on-prem systems, split between hands-on engineering and GRC work.
- •Key Responsibilities Build detections and security signal pipelines in Datadog and lead incident response.
- •Define AWS and on‑prem security monitoring and best practices; improve IaC security (Terraform).
- •Develop vulnerability monitoring integrated into CI/CD and build security automation with Python/Go.
- •Operate SOC 2 Type 2 evidence collection, drive ISO 27001 implementation, and manage vendor security reviews.
- •Requirements 4–7 years security engineering experience, ideally at a SaaS or remote company.
- •Hands-on AWS security (IAM, KMS, VPC, CloudTrail, GuardDuty) and IaC (Terraform) experience.
- •Software development with Python or Go and familiarity with Datadog and Docker.
- •Experience supporting SOC 2 audits and familiarity with ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR.
