TL;DR
Own Vercel's observability product strategy and roadmap, partnering with engineering and design.
- •We are looking for a Product Manager, Observability to own the strategy and roadmap for Vercel's observability products, including Runtime Logs, OpenTelemetry tracing, and Drains.
- •You will partner closely with engineering and design to help customers understand and debug what they run on Vercel.
- •Key Responsibilities Own strategy and roadmap for Vercel's observability products.
- •Turn ambiguous signal into a sequenced plan with clear tradeoffs.
- •Partner daily with engineering and design.
- •Define the native-vs-integrate line for observability tools.
- •Work with Enterprise customers and Sales/Solutions on observability needs.
- •Requirements 5+ years in product management, with meaningful time on developer, infrastructure, or data-intensive products.
- •Shipped something technical enough that engineers treated you as a peer.
- •Comfortable owning a domain end to end.
- •Fluency with data: you write your own queries.
