About the role
TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer, Reliability (SRE) to lead and build reliable, scalable, and observable systems.
- •Veeam is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Reliability (SRE) to be a hands-on technical leader, guiding senior engineers and influencing product development teams to ensure systems are built for reliability, scalability, and observability.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and evolve infrastructure for high availability and scalability across public clouds (Azure).
- •Establish and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to enforce reliability objectives.
- •Lead incident response, analysis, and blameless postmortems to drive learning and system improvements.
- •Drive adoption of deep observability practices and develop automation/self-healing tools.
- •Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering, with at least 2 years in Site Reliability or Platform Engineering.
- •Deep experience building systems on public cloud providers (Azure preferred).
- •Strong programming skills in JS, Node, Typescript, Go, Java, C#, or similar.
- •Experience with IaC tools like Terraform/Pulumi and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
