TL;DR
Buyer responsible for purchasing execution and supplier relationship management.
- •Valar Atomics is redefining clean, high-temperature nuclear power.
- •This Buyer role will own purchasing execution for assigned commodities and programs, ensuring on-time, on-quality, on-cost material delivery.
- •You will partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Finance to keep programs and production on schedule.
- •Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end purchasing and ordering execution, including PO, TO, and Return creation/tracking.
- •Ensure accuracy of open POs and proactively mitigate risks and delays.
- •Drive on-time, on-quality, and on-cost PO placement, tracking, and delivery.
- •Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supplier Quality to ensure compliance with nuclear industry regulatory requirements.
- •Resolve discrepancies in goods receipts and invoices for timely supplier payment.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or Operations. 5+ years of experience in hardware purchasing or supply chain in an ERP-driven environment.
- •Ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with a strong sense of urgency.
