About the role
TL;DR
Manage Upvest's relationships with market data providers and ensure compliance.
- •As our Relationship Manager, you will manage Upvest's relationships with market data providers, negotiate licensing agreements, and ensure compliance and commercial soundness.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end relationship with market data and static asset data providers.
- •Lead commercial negotiations independently and end-to-end, from initial terms through to signature and renewal.
- •Ensure that Upvest's redistribution of market data to B2B clients is properly licensed across all use cases and client types.
- •Act as the expert voice on market data licensing for internal teams.
- •Lead the assessment, selection, and onboarding of new market data providers and exchanges.
- •Requirements A law degree or equivalent legal training is strongly preferred. 3-6 years of experience working in the market data space.
- •Strong working knowledge of exchange licensing frameworks, redistribution rights, derived data rules, and direct reporting obligations.
- •Fluency in English.
- •German is a plus but not required.
