- •Tinybird is seeking a highly experienced Backend Engineer to build and operate complex real-time data systems, shaping how they are exposed as part of the product.
- •This role involves working closely with the product team to evolve the Tinybird platform, contributing code to ClickHouse, and ensuring the reliability and performance of data pipelines and APIs.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and operate complex backend services and distributed systems.
- •Design and implement interfaces, APIs, and workflows for users.
- •Debug incidents, improve observability, and enhance service reliability.
- •Contribute code to the ClickHouse database.
- •Participate in on-call rotations to understand customer and internal team challenges.
- •Requirements Strong experience building backend services, distributed systems, or high-volume production systems.
- •High proficiency in Python.
- •Comfort working close to production environments, including debugging and incident response.
- •Curiosity about real-time analytical systems and a liking for data and SQL.
- •Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong written communication skills.
