TL;DR
Assemble spacecraft sub-assemblies and support vehicle integration on a weekend shift.
- •Join Terran Orbital as an AIT Technician for Vehicle Integration on the weekend shift.
- •You will be responsible for the hands-on manufacturing and assembly of sub-assemblies essential for spacecraft vehicle integration, contributing to groundbreaking satellite solutions.
- •Key Responsibilities Follow detailed procedures to assemble complex electronic and mechanical modules.
- •Operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and light power tools.
- •Assist in spacecraft integration related activities.
- •Update documentation and hardware statuses through online services.
- •Perform miscellaneous lab duties, including kitting, inventory, and organization tasks.
- •Requirements High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of professional experience in electromechanical assembly or spacecraft/spacecraft hardware manufacturing.
- •Experience with wire harness routing and/or space flight integration.
- •Ability to read, understand and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
- •Familiarity with cleanroom cleanliness standards and ESD precautions.
