Lead quality engineering initiatives, driving test strategy and automation maturity.
- •Tekion is seeking a Lead Software Development Test Engineer to provide technical leadership for quality engineering initiatives.
- •This role drives test strategy, automation maturity, and release quality at scale, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end quality strategy for large product domains and high-impact releases.
- •Design, review, and optimize test approaches for various testing types.
- •Drive the development, scalability, and maintainability of automated test frameworks.
- •Partner with Engineering and Product teams early in the development lifecycle to identify quality risks.
- •Establish quality gates, release readiness criteria, and risk-based testing strategies.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. 7+ years of experience in software testing, QA, or software development, including leading complex test initiatives and automation.
- •Deep expertise in SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and modern quality engineering practices.
- •Strong experience designing scalable test strategies across complex systems.
- •Advanced experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or REST Assured.
