Performance Engineer to drive performance wins across Supabase's platform.
- •Supabase is seeking experienced performance engineers to identify and implement performance improvements across their entire platform, from database queries to cloud infrastructure.
- •This is a hands-on delivery role focused on achieving measurable performance gains as the platform scales.
- •Key Responsibilities Identify and precisely characterize performance bottlenecks in live production systems.
- •Collaborate with database and infrastructure teams to implement performance improvements.
- •Develop and evolve performance methodologies and tooling for actionable insights.
- •Partner with the observability team to establish a unified view of platform performance.
- •Enable teams to self-serve performance analysis and prioritize performance concerns.
- •Requirements Deep experience in performance engineering and analysis of complex distributed systems.
- •Ability to trace performance issues across the entire stack (application to kernel, network, cloud).
- •In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals or database internals.
- •Strong understanding of networking and cloud infrastructure performance.
- •Proven ability to drive product and architecture improvements through performance insights.
