- •Stripe is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Product and Risk Data Engineering team.
- •This role will focus on building and operating data pipelines and warehouses to support critical business functions like payments, risk, and product analytics.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead technical outcomes for a team of engineers, providing mentorship and guidance.
- •Deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines using tools like Spark, Kafka, and Flink.
- •Develop subject matter expertise and manage SLAs for data pipelines and applications.
- •Collaborate with product managers and peers to create/improve canonical datasets and data warehouses.
- •Leverage AI/LLM and Agents at scale to produce and analyze high-quality data.
- •Requirements 10+ years of experience building and operating data systems, pipelines, and warehouses.
- •Strong engineering background with experience in distributed data frameworks and SQL.
- •Knowledge of a backend development language (Scala, Java, or Go).
- •Experience with data inconsistencies and resolving data quality issues.
- •Extreme customer focus and effective cross-functional collaboration skills.
