About the role
TL;DR
Lead a cloud backend engineering team focused on high-performance Go-based services.
- •Lead a cloud backend engineering pod building high-performance Go-based services that ingest and process massive vehicle telemetry, interfacing with edge hardware and distributed fleets.
- •Key Responsibilities Hands-on implementation and ownership of core backend modules in Go.
- •Design and optimise cloud-native ingestion and storage pipelines.
- •Architect remote fleet command, configuration and orchestration APIs.
- •Recruit, mentor, and grow an AI-focused backend engineering team.
- •Establish code governance, CI/CD, and cross-functional delivery.
- •Requirements Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field. 9+ years backend development experience with leadership in technical squads.
- •Strong Go or systems-language proficiency and cloud microservices experience (Docker, Kubernetes).
- •Experience with distributed streaming/messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and database/storage strategies.
- •Familiarity with vehicle logger/telemetry domains and AI/ML feature delivery to cloud.
