TL;DR
Lead mechanical engineering teams to develop cutting-edge autonomous drone systems.
- •Skydio's mechanical systems are the backbone of reliable autonomous flight.
- •You will lead teams to help architect, develop, and refine the structures, mechanisms and solutions that bring autonomous flight to a broad audience.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the development of a cutting-edge vehicle platform from concept to production.
- •Manage the mechanical team tasked with bringing the F10 ecosystem to market.
- •Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive new product development from prototype through mass production.
- •Design mechanical parts and assemblies for aircraft, ground stations, and accessories.
- •Define and execute engineering tests and utilize analysis to evaluate system trade-offs.
- •Requirements Deep technical skills in mechanical and/or aerospace engineering with the ability to lead teams.
- •Prior experience of management and product development with a proven track record of technical excellence.
- •Strong system-level design skills and experience in aerospace or aviation design.
- •Mastery of 3D CAD, specifically CATIA preferred.
- •Experience with design for a broad array of manufacturing processes.
