Quality Inspector

TL;DR
Inspects hardware and harnesses to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- •The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of harnesses and hardware to ensure compliance with internal, external, and industry specifications.
- •This role plays a key part in supporting production goals, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality products.
- •Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections of hardware against engineering drawings, industry specifications, and internal/external quality requirements.
- •Create and maintain inspection documentation, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), Inspection Reports, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) for quality-related issues.
- •Investigate, document, and resolve product and process issues, ensuring proper corrective actions are implemented and verified.
- •Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance product quality, reduce inefficiencies, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
- •Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Technical Degree in a related field preferred). 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, production, or manufacturing roles.
- •Hands on experience inspection of harnesses to IPC-620 or NASA 8739.4 Class 3.
- •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and industry specifications.
- •Strong documentation skills, with experience in creating First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).
