About the role
TL;DR
Fly and evaluate autonomous drone fleet, pushing systems to their limits.
- •As the UAV Test Pilot, you will be the central operator flying the company's autonomous drone fleet.
- •You will evaluate new drone and payload prototypes in demanding real-world conditions, directly influencing the technology's development path.
- •Key Responsibilities Integrate and tune new airframes and payloads, preparing systems for flight.
- •Conduct structured tests across various drone platforms, including quadcopters, fixed-wings, and eVTOLs.
- •Execute realistic field scenarios to identify performance limits and reliability issues.
- •Collaborate with engineers to improve product performance and robustness based on test findings.
- •Demonstrate systems to partners and end-users in the field across Europe.
- •Requirements Technical apprenticeship or training in a relevant technical field.
- •Substantial hands-on experience assembling, tuning, repairing, and flying drones.
- •Intimate knowledge of Q Ground Control, Ardupilot, or PX4.
- •Diligent and structured approach to flying, with precision in communication and problem-solving.
- •Comfortable traveling, working outdoors in all weather, and operating in the field.
