About the role
TL;DR
Lead Quality operations at a shipyard, ensuring product and process compliance and continuous improvement.
- •Saronic is seeking an experienced Site Quality Manager to lead all Quality operations at their shipyard facility.
- •This role ensures products and processes meet company, customer, and regulatory standards while fostering a culture of quality excellence.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage site-based Quality personnel and oversee daily Quality operations.
- •Ensure effective implementation of the QMS and support internal/external audits.
- •Analyze quality data to identify trends and lead problem-solving teams for process improvement.
- •Provide technical oversight for inspection and test activities during production and delivery.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent experience. 8+ years in Quality Assurance/Engineering with 3-5 years in management.
- •Strong background in shipbuilding, defense manufacturing, or maritime integration.
- •Experience with ISO 9001 and knowledge of ABS/US Navy quality standards preferred.
