- •SandboxAQ is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the Platform & Infrastructure team.
- •This role is crucial for evolving architectural strategy, scaling core services, and elevating the team's technical capabilities to support AI workloads.
- •You will be instrumental in breaking down complex systemic challenges, mentoring engineers, and setting standards for systems excellence.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead architectural strategy for resilient, distributed systems supporting AI workloads.
- •Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering high standards and continuous learning.
- •Diagnose complex technical bottlenecks and break down infrastructure challenges into actionable requirements.
- •Design and implement foundational platform services to improve developer experience and reduce operational overhead.
- •Collaborate with product, research, and security teams to ensure infrastructure alignment.
- •Requirements 10+ years of professional software development experience in designing and scaling complex distributed systems. 5+ years of experience leading high-impact engineering teams, including mentoring and influencing technical strategy.
- •Expertise in cloud-native infrastructure (GCP preferred) and Kubernetes at scale.
- •Expertise in GPU/ML infrastructure for large training, data-generation, and inference workloads.
- •Strong ability to decompose complex technical problems into simplified, incremental, and actionable architectural designs.
