TL;DR
Software Engineering Intern to work on high-impact engineering challenges across Samsara's platform.
- •Samsara is seeking Software Engineering Interns to work on high-impact engineering challenges across their connected operations platform.
- •Interns will contribute to backend infrastructure, full-stack development, mobile applications, or embedded software, gaining experience in scaling IoT platforms and creating actionable insights.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop backend infrastructure for IoT platforms, scaling data ingestion and storage systems.
- •Create intuitive user experiences across the full stack, turning data into actionable insights.
- •Strengthen the infrastructure behind the React Native mobile app.
- •Build and maintain software for Samsara hardware, including edge AI and real-time data processing.
- •Collaborate closely with product and design teams to iterate on features.
- •Requirements Currently a junior-year student on track to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science between Spring/Summer/Fall 2028 or Winter 2029.
- •This internship is hybrid: 3 days per week in our San Francisco, CA office.
- •This internship is a full-time, paid experience.
