TL;DR
Design, build, and operate production AI systems and data infrastructure.
- •Samsara is seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer to join their Marketing Data and Analytics team.
- •This role will focus on building production AI systems, architecting data infrastructure, and automating workflows to drive revenue performance through data-driven insights.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, build, and operate production AI systems, including agent orchestration and retrieval pipelines.
- •Architect and maintain marketing databases, datasets, and pipelines to enable advanced segmentation and analytics.
- •Identify and automate manual workflows with AI, taking ideas from concept to production.
- •Own the reliability and data quality of built systems and partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience in data engineering or AI engineering.
- •Expert Python and SQL knowledge with strong data modeling experience.
- •Experience building and shipping systems that use LLMs or agents in production.
- •Deep experience with data warehouse architectures, ETL/ELT, and the modern data stack.
- •Demonstrated ability to lead requirements gathering independently and identify automation opportunities.
