TL;DR
Build and test AI prototypes, from idea to evidence, for voice AI and agent orchestration.
- •Sage Care is seeking a Software Engineer to own the AI research and prototyping pipeline, from idea to evidence.
- •You will stay close to emerging research and voice AI ecosystems, design trustworthy experiments, and turn promising ideas into tested prototypes.
- •You will be responsible for tracking emerging techniques, building rapid prototypes, running evaluations, and teaching the team through benchmarks, deep-dives, or clear recommendations.
- •Key Responsibilities Track emerging techniques in voice AI and agents orchestration.
- •Build rapid prototypes and test them against real conversation data.
- •Run head-to-head evaluations of models, providers, and techniques.
- •Turn every investigation into a team-usable artifact.
- •Work with platform engineers to hand off validated ideas for production.
- •Requirements 3+ years of software engineering or applied ML experience.
- •Strong coding skills; able to build and run experiments end-to-end.
- •Hands-on experience with LLMs: prompting, evaluation, and model behavior intuition.
- •Experimental rigor: experience designing tests with controls and baselines.
- •A track record of teaching or knowledge transfer.
