Own UI/UX quality and end-to-end feature development for a D2C subscription product.
- •Ruby Labs is seeking a Senior UI/UX Engineer to take full ownership of the UI/UX quality for a core D2C subscription product.
- •This role involves end-to-end feature development, from brief to production, with a focus on AI-first workflows and mobile-first interfaces.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the UI/UX quality of the entire product, defining and holding the standard for all interface decisions.
- •Supervise team members' UI/UX work, providing direction, reviewing output, and ensuring quality.
- •Lead major visual feature development from brief to implementation and polish.
- •Own and maintain the design system, ensuring visual and behavioral consistency across the product.
- •Utilize an AI-native design workflow, from generation to production quality.
- •Requirements Proven experience as the final quality owner for a product's UI/UX with sign-off responsibility.
- •Hands-on production experience with AI design and code tools as the core of your workflow.
- •A portfolio showcasing shipped, live consumer web products with visible craft in the details.
- •Proficiency in React/Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript for implementing and refining designs.
- •Experience building or maintaining a design system.
- •Experience guiding other developers' UI/UX work and driving it to shipped quality.
