- •Rocket Lab is seeking a Production Engineer I in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to drive process improvements and yield optimization in solar cell and silicon-based production.
- •This role involves ownership of photolithography systems and associated metrology, requiring a data-driven approach and strong cross-functional relationships.
- •Key Responsibilities Support sustaining activities to maximize yield and productivity in the litho area.
- •Collaborate with Operations, Equipment Maintenance, Process Technicians, and R&D Teams.
- •Own Photolithography process modules, responding to defect issues and overseeing operator training.
- •Plan and execute experiments to improve safety, yield, reliability, and throughput.
- •Scope and procure new equipment and process approaches for new products and manufacturing expansion.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- •Experience with Photolithography systems and associated metrology.
- •Breadth of wafer fab (III-V and/or Si) knowledge.
- •Solid understanding of statistical methods with a working knowledge of JMP and SQL.
- •Familiarity with quality/manufacturing methods such as SPC, OCAP, 8D problem solving techniques, FMEA, RCCA etc.
