- •Rhoda AI is building the next generation of generalist intelligent robots and is seeking a Senior Wire Harness Engineer to own the electrical interconnect of their robots from schematic to physical design and manufacturing.
- •This role requires a blend of electrical and mechanical engineering expertise.
- •Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end wire harness design, from logical definition to 3D routing and release.
- •Develop harness schematics using tools like Zuken E3 or Siemens Capital.
- •Model harness geometry in CATIA 3D, considering environmental and mechanical loads.
- •Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical teams on signal/power requirements and packaging.
- •Generate manufacturing documentation and support prototype builds.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience designing wire harnesses in demanding environments (automotive, robotics, aerospace).
- •Proficiency in harness design tools (Zuken E3, Siemens Capital) and CATIA for 3D modeling.
- •Solid understanding of environmental and mechanical load considerations for harness design.
- •Ability to work across logical/electrical and physical/mechanical domains.
- •Strong collaboration and communication skills.
