TL;DR
Supports development of new silicon photonic products in a Foundry environment.
- •PsiQuantum is building the first useful quantum computers using silicon photonics.
- •This role supports the development of new silicon photonic products in a Foundry environment, focusing on tape-out enablement, design rule creation, and PDK revisions.
- •Key Responsibilities Own execution of new and updated design rules for photonics dies.
- •Serve as a technical interface between PsiQ design/reliability teams and Foundry.
- •Evaluate interactions between layout, design, technology, and fabrication.
- •Review and assess DRC waiver requests, performing technical risk assessment.
- •Plan and support execution of engineering samples for system builds.
- •Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor or EDA technologies.
- •Proven experience executing complex projects and working with leading-edge semiconductor technologies.
- •Strong process knowledge, design manual development, design rules and DRC creation expertise.
- •Proven team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- •Demonstrated interest in quantum computing.
