About the role
TL;DR
Lead procurement for complex integrated systems at Proxima Fusion.
- •As Procurement Manager for Integrated Systems, you'll lead sourcing for complex equipment where suppliers play a key role in the design, integration and long-term performance of the system.
- •Key Responsibilities Own procurement for integrated systems, manufacturing equipment and supplier-designed technical packages.
- •Develop sourcing strategies and identify the best suppliers for complex engineering systems.
- •Lead RFIs, RFPs and supplier negotiations from market assessment through contract award.
- •Define commercial agreements covering performance, warranties, documentation, acceptance testing and lifecycle support.
- •Work closely with Engineering to manage supplier interfaces, technical risks and delivery milestones.
- •Requirements Around 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supplier management or strategic sourcing.
- •Experience sourcing complex equipment, machinery or integrated technical systems and working under uncertainty.
- •Comfortable working with technical specifications, system interfaces and acceptance testing and able to adapt to constant changes.
- •Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- •Able to balance technical, commercial and project considerations when making sourcing decisions.
