About the role
TL;DR
IT Automation Engineer to build and maintain automation and integration systems.
- •project44's Global IT Services team is looking for an IT Automation Engineer to own the automation and integration backbone connecting our HR, Finance, Sales, and Security systems.
- •This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone comfortable writing automation recipes, querying databases, and building internal applications.
- •Key Responsibilities Own and maintain the Workato platform for cross-system business process automation.
- •Co-own the HR-to-IT identity lifecycle, driving automation for joiners, leavers, and employee changes.
- •Design, build, and operate internal platforms for Project Registry and AI/Claude spend governance.
- •Triage and resolve helpdesk tickets, build automation for compliance evidence, and handle joiner/mover/leaver operations.
- •Requirements Experience with Workato (or similar iPaaS) and SQL/Snowflake.
- •Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, UKG Pro, and Azure AD/Entra ID.
- •Experience with Retool for internal app development and Azure hosting.
- •Hands-on experience with LLM platforms like Anthropic Claude and cost monitoring.
