About the role
TL;DR
Build and evolve systems for ingesting and processing communication data.
- •As a Senior Software Engineer on the Capture team, you will build and evolve systems that ingest and process communication data across telephony and modern meeting platforms.
- •You will design and develop systems that capture, process, and prepare audio and video streams for downstream analysis.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software systems for real-time and recorded audio/video streams.
- •Provide technical leadership, including code reviews, architecture decisions, and mentoring.
- •Contribute to the architecture of distributed systems for high-throughput media ingestion and processing.
- •Analyze and solve complex technical problems, recommending improvements and optimizations.
- •Implement and advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance.
- •Requirements Experience with real-time communication systems (VoIP, SIP, RTP, WebRTC).
- •Experience with audio/video processing pipelines, codecs, or streaming technologies.
- •Experience building and operating micro-services and REST/gRPC APIs.
- •Familiarity with observability tooling and debugging distributed systems.
- •Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
