About the role
TL;DR
Own the pricing system for all Photoroom apps, driving product growth and architecture.
- •We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to take ownership of Photoroom's pricing system, driving product growth initiatives and pricing architecture.
- •You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the pricing system architecture and feature delivery for all Photoroom products.
- •Monitor release performance using Datadog and iterate quickly based on user feedback.
- •Collaborate with product and front-end engineers to design and deliver user experiences.
- •Optimize existing endpoints to reduce latency and ensure scalability.
- •Requirements 5+ years of backend development experience with Django and Django Rest Framework.
- •Experience with relational databases at scale, schema design, and query optimization.
- •Experience with SaaS and subscription management (Stripe, RevenueCat).
- •Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases larger than 100 GB.
- •Pragmatic approach, favoring speed of iteration and leveraging frameworks.
