TL;DR

- •PayJoy is a credit provider dedicated to helping under-served customers in emerging markets achieve financial stability.
- •This role involves developing proprietary locking technology and contributing to world-class app design, web frontend and backend, and partner API integrations.
- •Key Responsibilities Code software primarily in PHP, Javascript/Vue/AngularJS, HTML, CSS.
- •Design and implement database schema changes to support new features.
- •Build APIs to deliver data partners need in real-time.
- •Provide mentorship and documentation for new engineers.
- •Participate in code reviews and work collaboratively using practices like pair programming and TDD.
- •Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, or a related field. 5 + years of experience in financial technology services.
- •Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, PHP, Java, Javascript/Vue/AngularJS, HTML, CSS, SQL.
- •Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- •Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
