About the role
TL;DR
Solve challenging vision problems in manufacturing using AI and optics.
- •The Vision Engineer will solve the hardest vision problems in the world by designing and iterating the imaging solution that makes inspection reliable.
- •Key Responsibilities Select and tune lighting for challenging surfaces and geometries.
- •Select and deploy lenses and optical elements.
- •Push beyond visible light when needed.
- •Diagnose and solve “weird” vision failure modes.
- •Communicate with customers, deploy on-site, train, and deliver projects.
- •Requirements Exceptional optical/lighting problem solver.
- •High autonomy and trust in technical strategy.
- •Knowledge of competitive landscape.
