- •Opto is seeking a Software Engineer to build elegant software solutions for complex business problems in the private markets industry.
- •You will be a customer-focused builder of tools and systems, owning engineering problems end-to-end.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the delivery of high quality software projects, coordinating with teammates and stakeholders.
- •Contribute to all phases of product development across specification, implementation, code review, QA testing, deployment, and operations.
- •Seek context and rapidly iterate on solutions to eliminate ambiguity and drive projects forward.
- •Participate actively in engineering recruiting.
- •Requirements 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- •Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, and SQL.
- •Strong grasp of tradeoffs in distributed systems, including data modeling, API design, and performance tuning at scale.
- •Experience applying AI/LLMs to data extraction, data interrogation, and document generation.
