- •Oklo is seeking a Quality Engineer to provide technical quality engineering support for materials, pressure-retaining components, supplier activities, and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code compliance.
- •This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and reliability of nuclear projects by maintaining rigorous quality standards throughout procurement, testing, and documentation processes.
- •Key Responsibilities Serve as a technical quality resource for ASME BPVC matters and ensure compliance with ASME NQA-1, ANSI/ANS-15.8, and other relevant codes.
- •Review technical documents to verify quality, material, testing, and documentation requirements are effectively flowed down.
- •Manage the certified material test report program, analyzing reports for completeness, authenticity, and specification compliance.
- •Develop and implement a Certifying Engineer Program to ensure personnel competency and proper authorization.
- •Support qualification and oversight of suppliers, manufacturers, and testing laboratories.
- •Requirements 7+ years of progressive quality engineering or related experience in highly regulated environments.
- •Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- •Strong working knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, ASME NQA-1, and/or ANSI/ANS-15.8.
- •Demonstrated experience reviewing CMTRs and material certifications.
- •Ability to work remotely and travel as needed.
