About the role
TL;DR
Drive reliability and operational excellence for Nubank's regulatory infrastructure.
- •Nu is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability and resilience of its regulatory infrastructure, focusing on systems for interbank transfers and regulatory platforms.
- •You will collaborate across teams to ensure mission-critical services remain available and robust under strict operational constraints.
- •Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end reliability for IT regulatory infrastructure services.
- •Define, measure, and improve SLIs, SLOs, and operational health indicators.
- •Lead incident response, coordinate recovery, and drive postmortems.
- •Design and evolve platform observability, focusing on tracing and early detection of bottlenecks.
- •Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity exercises.
- •Requirements 5+ years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience.
- •Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure platforms and Linux systems.
- •Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP and routing).
- •Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting.
- •Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana) and distributed tracing.
