- •Nubank is seeking a Senior Model Risk Management & Validation Specialist to join its Global MRM team as a senior US-based model risk representative.
- •This role involves independently assessing and challenging models across various business functions.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead independent validation reviews of diverse models, including traditional statistical, machine-learning, and generative-AI.
- •Evaluate AI/ML-specific risks such as bias, fairness, and explainability, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- •Engage with senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders to communicate independent opinions and findings.
- •Contribute to scalable global validation frameworks and playbooks for traditional, AI, and generative-AI systems.
- •Requirements Experience in model validation or model risk management for quantitative, statistical, machine-learning, or AI models.
- •Strong data science and machine-learning fundamentals, including model performance and lifecycle management.
- •Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and programming.
- •Working knowledge of US model risk regulatory expectations (e.g., SR 11-7).
