About the role
TL;DR
Build and improve backend services for MOO's manufacturing and product launch systems.
- •MOO is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Forge team, focusing on enabling branded product launches and improving their internal manufacturing system.
- •You will work closely with a small team to enhance system resilience, observability, and scalability.
- •Key Responsibilities Build, test, and deploy backend services using Java, Terraform, and AWS.
- •Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes for system reliability and scalability.
- •Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code supporting core fulfillment workflows.
- •Collaborate with senior engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and problem-solving.
- •Contribute to design discussions and architectural decisions for scaling systems.
- •Requirements Proficiency in Java (21) and the AWS suite.
- •Experience with Spring boot.
- •Commitment to great user experience and improving internal tooling.
- •Self-motivated team player with experience in an agile environment.
- •Understanding of code quality and testing importance.
