About the role
TL;DR
Build and manage the global supply chain from scratch for a robotics company.
- •We're building robots for industrial deployment that push the limits of what hardware can do and we need someone who's done this before in the trenches, not just observed it from a distance.
- •You'll be part of building our supply chain from scratch, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our engineering team, and moving at a fast pace.
- •Key Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for various components.
- •Own the full procurement cycle, including negotiation and contract execution.
- •Build and maintain should-cost models to drive cost reduction.
- •Develop and manage the supply chain readiness plan for production.
- •Track supplier lead times and manage ongoing supplier performance.
- •Requirements Experience building supply chains at a startup, moving fast and owning outcomes end-to-end.
- •Deep sourcing intuition and understanding of supplier economics and manufacturing processes. 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing within hardware-intensive industries.
- •Direct experience sourcing across multiple commodity categories.
- •Familiarity with various manufacturing processes.
