- •Metalenz is seeking a Senior Optical Metrology Engineer to manage metrology systems for prototyping optical components.
- •This hands-on role involves developing and managing optical setups for internal and external customers, collaborating closely with a small team of optical engineers and design/fabrication groups.
- •Key Responsibilities Characterize and calibrate prototype polarization cameras for 3D sensing and biometric applications.
- •Determine optimal designs and process conditions using optical techniques to characterize metasurface performance.
- •Maintain and develop metrology automation systems for wafer-scale optical characterization.
- •Communicate results and conclusions to various teams and senior management.
- •Requirements PhD or MS in electrical engineering, physics, or related field. 3+ years of industrial experience in optics.
- •Comfortable setting up optical measurements and designing experimental setups.
- •Proficient in communicating experiments and conclusions.
- •Experienced with measurement automation using Python.
