- •Merlin Labs is seeking a Process Engineer specializing in Configuration Management to define, standardize, and improve CM processes for all released engineering, design, and process data across their Technology organization.
- •This role is crucial for ensuring consistency and traceability in a rapidly scaling aerospace and defense company.
- •Key Responsibilities Define and improve configuration management processes for engineering data.
- •Partner with engineering and program teams to apply consistent CM practices.
- •Refine the change control process for proper assessment and traceability of changes.
- •Establish and maintain configuration item identification and versioning conventions.
- •Administer and improve configuration/PLM tooling.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with experience in configuration management.
- •At least 8 years of experience executing complex configuration management processes in aerospace, including FAA TIA experience.
- •Working knowledge of industry standards like ANSI/EIA-649, ARP4754A, AS9100D, and MIL-HDBK-61A.
- •Experience administering configuration or PLM tooling.
- •Experience with DO-178C / DO-254 release and configuration practices.
