About the role
TL;DR
Architect and implement the infrastructure for Mercator's AI-driven supply chain platform.
- •As Mercator’s first Platform/Infrastructure engineer, you’ll architect the backbone that makes everything else possible.
- •This role is high-leverage where you’ll turn scrappy prototypes into production-grade infrastructure.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and implement systems that keep the platform fast, secure, and resilient.
- •Own cloud environments, databases, deployments, and observability stack.
- •Lead the security and compliance foundation needed for SOC 2 and enterprise readiness.
- •Build pathways for seamless data integration with external systems.
- •Requirements Experience in building internal platforms that engineers want to use.
- •Strong background in infrastructure and cloud services.
- •Ability to turn infrastructure into a product and create the rails that unlock engineering velocity.
- •Experience with security and compliance for SOC 2 and enterprise readiness.
- •Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
