- •May Mobility is seeking a Director of Perception to lead the vision, strategy, and technical roadmap for their Autonomy Perception team.
- •This role is crucial for advancing May Mobility's core autonomy software stack and ensuring high-quality data for their innovative MPDM architecture.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the vision, strategy, and technical roadmap for the Autonomy Perception team.
- •Drive innovative and robust advances in perception technology, including object detection, classification, tracking, and prediction.
- •Lead design and specification of next-generation sensor suites.
- •Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track autonomy performance.
- •Hire, manage, and develop a diverse team of talented perception engineers and scientists.
- •Requirements 10+ years of engineering experience, with a PhD or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
- •Demonstrated success in solving complex autonomy problems as a principal investigator, staff or principal engineer, or director.
- •Experience leading a team of 10+ engineers.
- •Deep technical knowledge in multi-sensor fusion, object detection, scene segmentation, tracking, and behavior prediction.
- •Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
