TL;DR
Lead and evolve the Credit onboarding engineering team, scaling innovative credit onboarding platforms.
- •As Marqeta's Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you will lead and evolve our Credit onboarding team.
- •This is a critical leadership role responsible for scaling the next generation of innovative credit onboarding platforms that power modern fintech experiences.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end Credit onboarding platform responsible for new credit customers onboarding.
- •Drive platform resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence.
- •Drive AI-first automation, reducing manual handling and increasing efficiency across dispute classification, evidence management, and prioritization.
- •Partner with Product to shape roadmap, sequencing, and delivery strategy.
- •Lead and mentor a high-performing team, improving engineering velocity and system reliability through intelligent workflows and automation.
- •Requirements Experienced engineering leader (8–12+ years in engineering, 4+ years managing senior engineers or managers).
- •Experience building and scaling distributed systems in cloud native environments, preferably AWS.
- •Strong background in microservices architectures and high availability systems.
- •Proven ability to operate in regulated or compliance sensitive environments.
- •Experience in fintech strongly preferred; credit domain experience is a plus but not required.
