TL;DR
Manage operating expense and headcount planning, partnering with functional leaders.
- •As Marqeta's Corporate/Opex Finance Manager, you will own a critical slice of the company's operating expense and headcount planning end-to-end, serving as the trusted finance partner to a functional leader while helping build the systems and rigor Corporate FP&A needs at public-company scale.
- •Key Responsibilities Own opex forecasting and management for your function end-to-end.
- •Be the trusted finance partner to a functional leader.
- •Own your workstream's reporting.
- •Support the broader planning cycle.
- •Apply GAAP fluency within your scope.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Math, or similar).
- •Minimum 8 years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally including time at a scaled operating or public company.
- •Solid GAAP fluency.
- •Comfortable with systems and allergic to manual work.
- •A genuine business partner.
- •A clear communicator, comfortable presenting your own work.
