TL;DR
Develop and maintain API-gateway automation components for government-approved CI/CD pipelines.
- •Makpar has an exciting opportunity for a Gateway Automation Engineer to develop, validate, and maintain API-gateway automation components that integrate with Government-owned CI/CD pipelines and approved DevSecOps toolchains.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain EAG/API-gateway automation components that integrate with Government-approved CI/CD pipelines.
- •Create and validate configuration-as-code, pipeline-compatible deployment artifacts, gateway promotion workflows, API validation gates, and migration automation components.
- •Support automated checks for API specification quality, governance compliance, Zero Trust controls, telemetry, configuration drift, and production-readiness evidence.
- •Requirements 4+ years of experience in automation engineering, API gateway engineering, DevOps-adjacent application/platform engineering, integration engineering, or software delivery automation. 2+ years integrating application/platform components with CI/CD pipelines.
- •Experience with Git, YAML/JSON, scripting, build/deploy automation, environment promotion, artifact management, and configuration-as-code.
