- •Mainspring Energy is seeking a Staff Software Test & Automation Engineer to architect validation and automation frameworks for their innovative energy generation technology.
- •This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and reliability of their distributed energy assets.
- •Key Responsibilities Architect and scale custom hardware test beds and automation frameworks.
- •Develop comprehensive test plans and technical approaches for hardware/software integrations.
- •Lead failure analysis and debug system-level issues.
- •Drive risk-based testing strategies for comprehensive coverage.
- •Collaborate with development teams to diagnose anomalies and vet new technologies.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 9+ years of experience, or Master's with 9+ years in SDET, Embedded Test, or Software Engineering.
- •Proven track record in leading complex automation projects and performing manual exploratory testing.
- •Strong hands-on software development experience in Python and C++.
- •Proficiency in leveraging AI coding assistants and validating their output.
- •Experience testing systems in at least three of the following: Cloud computing, embedded systems, networking, IoT with RTOS, controls, simulations, emulators, or complex algorithms.
