- •Magical is seeking a deeply technical, AI-native Engineering Manager to lead a team of up to 12 engineers in building an agentic workforce for enterprise healthcare.
- •This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive technical decisions and raise team velocity while staying close to the architecture, product, and customer problems.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of up to 12 engineers.
- •Drive technical execution and quality across a significant area of Magical's AI platform.
- •Set high standards for engineering quality, delivery speed, and incident response.
- •Translate ambiguous product and customer problems into executable technical plans.
- •Hire, onboard, coach, and retain exceptional engineers.
- •Requirements Experience leading a high-performing engineering team through a fast-growing stage.
- •Strong technical judgment in production software systems, architecture, and reliability.
- •Meaningful experience with LLMs, agents, evals, orchestration, or other production AI systems.
- •Comfort operating close to customers and understanding real-world consequences of engineering decisions.
- •Familiarity with enterprise security and healthcare trust requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2, PHI).
