Library Technician to manage AFRL technical library resources and circulation.
- •Mach Industries is seeking a Library Technician to provide specialized library support for the AFRL technical libraries.
- •This role involves managing library resources, ensuring proper circulation, and maintaining the catalog.
- •Key Responsibilities Track and monitor all items circulated in and out of the AFRL Technical Library.
- •Enter and update records in Library systems daily and edit technical items into the Document Catalog.
- •Provide assistance in the use of library catalogs, databases, and indexes.
- •Sort, replace, rotate, and shelve books, and preserve library materials.
- •Perform visual inspection of shelves and remove damaged materials.
- •Requirements Excellent customer service/interpersonal communication skills.
- •Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
- •Experience with electronic library circulation and catalog systems.
- •Associate degree and 2-4 years of professional experience as a library technician.
- •Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
